About Misty Hartley
I have a passion for hospice and palliative care and increasing access to quality care for our most vulnerable patient populations by expanding and innovating care into the patient’s home. As a nurse practitioner my leadership foundation is built upon a solid history of clinical and operational experience for a rich understanding of operational strategy and company to people mission alignment. My expertise in developing and leading strategies for clinical, financial, and operational excellence for organizations in all stages from start-up to maturity with value based, fee-for-service, and hybrid reimbursement structures. I have helped to open and scale three palliative care companies with both community and inpatient programs on local, regional and national levels. I have developed and operated innovative IDT home-based care models that support VBID and other CMMI initiatives. I am dedicated to providing both hands on and influential mentorship to build a solid succession of leaders and believe that empowering colleagues to contribute to the fullest scope of their expertise and creativity is key to a high performing team. I am also a proud member of the NAHC Palliative Care Council.
