About Misty Cadle
I proudly own and operate Beautiful Minds Counseling Center. I specialize in trauma and addiction. I have a Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College. I have experience working with adults, teens, and children. I am currently a LPC and CSAC in the state of Virginia and a LPC and ALPS in the state of WV. I am a MAC (masters addiction counselor), an AADC (advanced alcohol and drug counselor) in WV and VA, a SAP (substance abuse professional), and a Certified First Responder Counselor. I am certified in EMDR, Accelerated Resolution therapy, an Acudetox specialist, a NBCC certified mental health counselor and nationally certified counselor. I have conducted crisis assessments to determine need for inpatient treatment as an emergency services clinician, ran groups at group homes, behavioral health centers, a methadone/Suboxone clinic, and probation; As well as, provided individual therapy for a few facilities. I was an adjunct instructor for Southwest Virginia Community College from 20••••23 for the psychology and human services departments. I wrote the 2008 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Grant for Clinch Valley Community Action. I am also very proud of the fact that I am the first person in my family to graduate from college. I am driven and motivated to help make the world a happier and more balanced place, but most specifically the often forgotten about communities of Southern West Virginia and Southwest Virginia.
