While being a full-time wife and mother I was able to earn my BSSW from UAB School of Social Work (accredited program), complete an Internship with United Ways Crisis Center, Service Learning(s), and volunteer with various organizations. Now that both children are getting older and in school, I\'m looking forward to returning to the workforce and putting my education and experience to good use. I believe that becoming a mother has made me more empathetic person, a better listener, and overall, a better human being.
