Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services- Currently serving as the program manager for a project that assists the Office of Financial Management (OFM) in conducting the payment error rate measurement (PERM) eligibility reviews for Medicaid and CHIP, including performing case reviews, reporting findings, and providing additional support to CMS and states. The goal of this project is to bring consistency to the eligibility review process and minimize state work associated with reviews- Served as Technical Assistance Lead for a project that assisted Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) in its effort to support and oversee state health insurance Marketplace implementation through technical assistance, approval process strategy development, and oversight and monitoring strategic counsel as directed by the Affordable Care Act. This role included technical assistance planning, content development and delivery across 13 topics (e.g, Plan Management). Examples include one-on-one calls, webinars, group calls, and in-person meetings. The goal of this project is to support state Marketplaces in providing access to insurance coverage- Served as Communications Lead supporting Division of Plan Oversight and Accountability (DPOA) in developing and instituting a communications campaign to help DPOA in preparing, anticipating, controlling and evaluating responses to stakeholder inquiries/audits and telling success stories. Food and Drug Administration- Served as a Communications and Strategy Lead for the Office of Foods and worked to develop the Foods Program strategic plan. The three year plan included goals, implementation strategies, action plans, and performance measures.Department of Defense- Served as the Communications Lead for the Patient Safety Program (PSP). Work included strategic planning, message development, promotion of resources (e.g, Patient Safety Learning Center, TeamSTEPPS), stakeholder audit, and engaging stakeholders.
