As Vice Chair of the Parks and Recreation Commission, I support the City of San Fernando in enhancing public parks, recreation programs, and community connections. I collaborate with city leaders, staff, and residents to create welcoming, accessible, and sustainable spaces for all. I contribute ideas and input on policies, capital projects, and events that bring neighbors together and enrich community life. Drawing on my background in experiential marketing and events, I help shape creative, meaningful experiences that inspire civic pride and strengthen the city’s sense of belonging. • Lead creative planning and revitalization of parks, playgrounds, green spaces, and public monuments across the City of San Fernando • Oversee project budgets and resource allocation to ensure responsible, high-impact investments in recreational infrastructure • Collaborate with city staff, design teams, and partners to deliver inclusive, sustainable, and high quality public spaces • Advise on the preservation and enhancement of historical landmarks, public art, and cultural assets • Support the integration of accessible design and amenities to serve residents of all ages and abilities • Contribute to long-term planning focused on sustainability, conservation, and community wellness • Provide input on policy, capital improvements, and programming to strengthen community engagement and quality of life
