I am a scientist and wellness practitioner passionate about the intersection of cannabis, its compounds, and the microbial world. My research enhances cannabis cultivation with soil microbes and explores the interplay between the human microbiome and cannabis compounds.At Thunder Ridge Farms, I lead efforts to cultivate hemp, medicinal fungi, and herbs, while operating a plant tissue culture lab and a hemp cultivation program for U.S. military veterans. Our farm also creates rigorously tested artisanal products and is partnering with a Kenyan tea farm to launch hemp-infused herbal teas in fall 2024.With over 20 years as a yoga practitioner, I design cannabis-enhanced sessions that deepen the connection between nature and wellness. As a member of the National Biological Honor Society, my microbiology expertise drives my mission to merge cutting-edge cannabis research with holistic practices for mind, body, and soul.
