About Sonali R. Mishra
I am a seasoned mixed-methods UX researcher and health and wellness intervention designer with 10+ years of experience across industry and academia. I have a strong track record of leading end-to-end UX research projects at every stage of product development and delivering high-impact findings. My process includes establishing research goals that align with business objectives, selecting methods and adapting them to the business need, and communicating actionable findings to cross-functional stakeholders. I leverage my UX design experience to anchor my research to critical design questions, create prototypes when needed, and ensure actionable findings. I use my intervention design experience to make sure the research I do and the insights I share are geared towards achieving desired outcomes for user behavior.In my current role, I design and evaluate just-in-time adaptive interventions. I use mixed methods to look at engagement and experience with the intervention alongside efficacy, so that we can gain insights not just into whether the current intervention works, but how we can improve it.
