ABOUT MISHBAH MASOOD

I’m Mishbah Masood, a B.A. LL.B. graduate from Presidency University, Bangalore, with a keen interest in Corporate law, Mergers and Acquisitions, IPR, Competition Law, Regulatory Compliance, Data Privacy and Tech Law, driven by the intersection of business and technology in modern legal practice. I have built a strong foundation in legal research, drafting, and advisory work through diverse internships across leading law firms and in-house legal teams, consistently aligning my work with the demands of modern business law. At Infosys, I worked on matters related to legal ethics and compliance, risk management, due diligence, anti-bribery and anti-corruption (ABAC), IPR and AI, ESG, and Arbitration. At Dua Associates, I have worked on matters related to SEBI and Companies Act compliance, IPR, Arbitration and commercial laws. At Aadhya Legal, I focused on corporate governance including CSR mandates, insurance cases, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC) issues, while gaining hands-on experience in drafting pleadings and procedural documents during my internship at High Court and Civil Court. Academically, I’ve published articles and a research paper on Competition law, Crypto regulation, and AI in fintech, and presented at conferences. I’ve also contributed to my university’s Tech Law Committee and Legal Aid Clinic, advocating for legal awareness and innovation.
