Luminance’ is a series of poems I wrote when I lived on a cable ship installing deep sea fiber optic cables. I often sat in a secluded part of the captain’s deck, under the enchanting stars, and wrote my heart out, all while the ship glazed through the world’s oceans. We were cut off from social media with no access to our phones. I was privileged to be the first South Asian woman to do my job, often the only girl onboard. I can’t wait to share these poems with you. 50% of all proceeds from the book are donated to the @thepcrf.

I work as a Senior Consultant in subsea industry, leveraging my expertise in complex marine solutions and infrastructure projects. My role at Shopify as a Technical Account Manager under the Google Cloud Platform involved overseeing critical operations and driving strategic initiatives that impact high-stakes events like Black Friday Cyber Monday. I take pride in advocating for infrastructure needs, solving problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.I am also the founder of Hir[Ed], where I channel my passion for education and career strategy into building a successful tutoring business. In addition, my love for creative expression led me to publish a poetry book in 2023, combining my technical background with the world of art and literature.I\'m most interested in opportunities that allow me to take on complex challenges, whether technical, operational, or creative, and turn them into successes.
