A State of Vermont Department of Health (VHD) Public Health Specialist Emergency Preparedness in the Office of Local Health (OLH) Division. As a senior VDH OLH EP, I support two District Offices and approximately thirty-nine municipalities. Simultaneously, I co-facilitate the Upper Valley MRC, the only bi-state MRC in the U.S, within my service region. During public health crises, the Vermont Health Operations Center (HOC) activates to liaise between the SEOC, Local Planning Commissions (LPCs), Regional Emergency Management Committees (REMC), Vermont Healthcare Emergency Preparedness Coalition (VHEPC), community health partnerships (CHP) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The EPs liaise with the leadership of the various regional partnerships within their districts to support interagency relationships and improve overall interoperability. HSEEP certified.
