Mirna Velasquez is a seasoned public servant, strategic advisor, and community-focused leader with over a decade of experience in government, public affairs, diplomatic engagement, and constituent services.She currently serves as Chief of Staff to State Senator Jessica Ramos, where she leads strategic operations, legislative coordination, stakeholder engagement, and community outreach for one of New York’s most diverse districts.Prior to this role, Velasquez served at the New York State Department of Labor, where she contributed to public service initiatives and workforce systems with a focus on equitable access and outreach. She previously spent several years in federal public service under former Congressman Joe Crowley, where she played a key role in high-level community engagement, intergovernmental relations, and policy-focused outreach benefiting immigrant and working-class communities.Velasquez brings extensive experience working with foreign consulates and high-level international government delegations, representing elected officials and public institutions in high-profile national and international conferences and forums.
