ABOUT MIRKO BONASORTE

I build backend systems for cloud-native security at Sysdig, focused on the Response Actions feature in Sysdig Secure — a Go-based platform that lets security teams automatically or manually respond to runtime threats across Kubernetes workloads and AWS environments. Day to day: designing gRPC/REST services, orchestrating remediation actions across multi-cluster environments, integrating with AWS Lambda for cloud-side responses (IAM quarantine, S3 access removal, network isolation), and building the remote storage layer for forensic captures across multi-region AWS deployments. Before Sysdig, I spent 8 years as Software Architect at Conio, a Bitcoin custody startup in Milan, where I designed core wallet infrastructure from zero to scale. I care about systems that are correct, operationally simple, and still working at 3am.
