I am pursursing a research-oriented residency with full clinical training credentials in Adult Psychiatry in Brown’s combined psychiatry/psychology department:The Brown Psychiatry Residency Training Program offers residents a balanced approach to the study and treatment of psychiatric illness. Our program aims to train physician leaders in academic psychiatry through a core curriculum of clinical assignments, seminars, and individual supervision. Residents learn psychopharmacologic and psychotherapeutic treatments for disorders throughout the life cycle, and attain an advanced competence level in multiple psychotherapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
