ABOUT MIRIAM DUCKE

After nearly two decades in international business development and leadership, I am reshaping my career to align with a personal mission: health, wellbeing, and impact. Diagnosed with a rare condition, I am committed to contributing to prevention, awareness, and research for rare diseases while exploring human-centered, tech-enabled solutions for better health outcomes. Currently, I study Health Promotion & Nutrition and work as a Research Assistant at the German Institut for Human Nutrition gaining hands-on experience in nutrition, biobank (lab), participant management, and study design. Alongside this, I manage a residential real estate portfolio, applying project management, renovation oversight, and strategic tenant management skills developed over years. My unique journey combines leadership, international experience, and practical nutrition expertise, allowing me to make a tangible difference in health, wellbeing, and quality of life. In addition to my professional work, I’m a dedicated advocate for the HHT community (Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia), working to raise awareness and create support for those affected by this rare genetic condition.
