I have spent the past 20 years innovating and executing healthcare research in Sites, Technology, Retail/Pharmacy, CRO, Pharma, and Academia, and am currently serving as CEO of Cedar Health Research and Aspen Insights, Inc.With a healthy disregard for the impossible, I have earned a reputation for designing, building and executing innovative clinical solutions with an understanding of the underlying science and commercial opportunities, resulting in sticky products.Some recent successes and highlights include:> Business Builder & Operations Leader: Leading integration of two companies, serving as CEO, and scaling technology-based clinical trial company, Cedar Health Research | First executive hire at Walmart Healthcare Research Institute, architecting corporate strategy and infrastructure, and building teams from the ground up for novel community-based drug development and clinical trials organization. Secured $50M in gross awards in 1st year (2023) representing 20 studies.| Record-breaking numbers at Syneos by expanding & breaking into new accounts.|$30M+ per quarter for Real World Evidence, and surpassed $280M annually for Syneos One clinical development.| Developed and executed a digital solution at Sanofi, saving $9.8M by using data to generate evidence replacing clinical trial for MS research.> Clinical & Commercial Development: Designed and led asset development from clinical to commercial, partnering with enterprise pharma companies, SMID and biotech, including Pfizer, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Centessa while at Syneos> Digital Health Strategy Pioneer: I have designed and executed first-of-kind digital, data and AI clinical trial methodologies, setting new standards in the industry. This includes designing and implementing Cedar Health Research’s AI use within EMR, as well as architecting a virtual clinical trial methodology deployed for a top 10 pharma and Click Therapeutics while at Syneos.Additionally, I am on the Board of Directors at Arkansas Children’s Research Institute, and also serve on the Board of Advisors for Uncommon Cures as well as Carna Health. I have demonstrated thought leadership with 25 peer-reviewed articles, and first-authored articles in American Journal of Psychiatry & Addiction. Reviewer for leading journals, including JAMA and British Medical Journal.Outside of my career, I am an accomplished ultra-marathon runner of 100-mile races, enabling corporate athleticism.
