Direct and instruct the management staff in effective recruiting and interviewing techniques using verbal presentations and written directions to ensure the hiring and retention of qualified and efficient employees conduct interviews for all management positions. • Develop strategies to improve organizational performance, morale, working environment, and associate retention. • Ensure compliance with all State and Federal laws and regulations and court rulings on Human Resources by reviewing current management practices, implementing new procedures, and communicating verbally and in writing any new requirements. Manage EEOC program, Affirmative Action plan, FMLA, etc. • Control wages and benefits administration to ensure the accurate and equitable application of same, analyzing and applying information retrieved from moderately complex reports, manuals, and computer systems. • Supervision of benefits, claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees. • Manage annual Performance Management Development process for all employees, including employee training, coaching, and performance appraisal. • Conducts one-on-one meetings with Direct Reports to ensure their ongoing development. • Provide change management and communication support for business and HR initiatives. • Delivers support and direction to management for creating a positive and engaging work environment. • Provides advice and guidance on performance management, including leadership development, coaching, and performance concerns. • Manage safety programs and Worker’s Compensation Benefits. • Ensures the prompt and proper submission of all corporate, divisional, and governmental reports.
