WORK HISTORY
Simulation Engineer @Comau
GB
Simultaneous Engineering for Body In White. Offline programming with ABB robots.Support on-site build.Safety and Ergonomic studies and approval.Develop innovative solution for optimizing cycle time.Providing design evidence of tooling feasibility, dynamic clearance and assembly sequence evaluation.Work effectively in a multi-disciplined environment.Reverse engineering (SL5).Consistently identify potential assembly problems and production constrains by analysis and simulation.Developing accurate simulation software studies to verify the effectiveness of proposed robotic systems and processes.Personal Achievements. In the period that I\'ve spend in Simulation department in COMAU UK I\'ve been responsible for a number of zones in JLR projects:X761/760 I was coordinating zone 5.2. The zone was a difficult zone because of the high number of robots, over 25 robots(Manipulation, riveting and sealing robots). My responsibility was to make sure that the layout was correct and that the toolingwas up to date and worked with both models. I had to make sure that the cycle time could be achieved for both models. Thiswas done through creating simulations to prove the cycle time and to show that the system worked collision free.I\'ve spent a period on site where I supervised the installation of the system. I also provided the information which supported the constant modification of the process. I had to check and to approved all modifications before they were installed. For L462 I coordinated a number of ROBCAD cells between Romania and the UK. I had to present all the cells and participate in the design reviews where I had to take the correct action to deliver a high-quality simulation that reflected the reality. For the L551 laser braze cell, I had to build and simulate in ROBCAD an accurate simulation for a laser braze process of the roof for JLR cars. This was the first cell of its kind delivered to JLR.
