ABOUT MIRCEA-DANIEL R.

My professional experience begins with my 3 months internship to LMS International in Leuven, Belgium with the purpose of writing my bachelor thesis “Noise and Vibration Benchmark”. Here I had the unique opportunity to experience an engineering field which further influenced my career, Noise, Vibration and Harshness.It continues with my employment at Stabilus Romania, where my background in noise and vibration qualified me for the tasks I had to do there. During the first 3 years my work was divided in two: as an application engineer where my tasks developed from CAD activities to project management activities and also as a Noise and Vibration engineer, my presence being required (approx. 5 months/year) at Stabilus Germany for leading NVH tasks. Bringing more development work to Stabilus Romania, since 2011 I worked full time as a Noise and Vibration engineer for the Powerise Development Team.In February 2015 I received the opportunity to work as an Engine NVH Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover on a contract based position that opened new horizons and challenges for me, giving me the chance to develop myself from both a personal and a professional point of view.I started with basic NVH measurement and analysis tasks, learning new skills and the tools (software and hardware) used within the company and I became the responsible with all the testing activities for our team, coordinating the other test engineers and the available resources.
