ABOUT MIRANDA RYAN
Experienced screen industry professional with experience across the private and public sectors. Currently a Program Analyst at Creative BC designing and implementing funding programs for the motion picture and other creative industries. Also a passionate grief advocate and writes and works to reduce stigma around substance use death and other hard things. Miranda is an experienced screen industry professional, having previously worked for a film commission as an investment manager, as well as a writer\'s assistant, producer\'s assistant, director\'s assistant and in production. She is a skilled in the areas of program design and management, grant writing and assessing, funding application assistance, creative assistance, production support, development research, script coverage, proof reading, administrative and other support. With a background in market research and audience insights, Miranda followed her passion of creating great stories into the film and television industry in 2016. Miranda worked as a coordinator and investment manager at Screen NSW/Create NSW in the assessment and administration of development and production finance funding. Since moving to Canada in 2019 Miranda has been working in film production in B.C. A gifted all-rounder, Miranda\'s key strengths include her meticulous attention to detail, writing skills and creative capabilities. She is a resilient fast-learner able to adapt to fast-paced environments while managing competing demands from both internal and external stakeholders.
