About Miranda Elliott
Miranda is a software developer and designer based in Seattle, WA with experience in full stack web development, UX design and research, iOS and Android development, and data science. She\'s also a songwriter and producer under the project name Old Man of the Woods.At her core, Miranda needs to create. Her central focus is the user, prioritizing usability, accessibility, collaboration, and transparency.For the past 5 years, Miranda has worked at Markel optimizing their renewal underwriting process. Her primary project has been designing, developing, and continuously iterating on a web app that delivers renewal and claims data to nearly 900 insurance underwriters across the US, cutting their time spent on renewal information gathering in half.
