ABOUT MIRANDA LAZEAR

Miranda Reed began her career with Lucas Group as an Executive Search Consultant in the Washington, D.C, Accounting & Finance Practice in 2015. Competitive by nature, Miranda\'s work ethic and persistence allowed her to make strategic and successful placements that have yielded demonstrable, long-term success for her clients and candidates. She was promoted to lead the D.C. Finance & Accounting Practice in 2019, and quickly grew her team into a powerhouse within the executive recruiting world. Working with fast growing PE/VC backed start-ups to established companies, DC finds success in placing CFOs, President’s, VP Finance, Controllers, and Global Tax Directors across a multitude of industries. As a championship-winning college basketball point guard, Miranda honed her team leadership capabilities, becoming a leader who inspires excellence, professionalism, and subject-matter expertise from her squad. Within her first year of taking over leadership of the DC team, they have produced a 30% increase in revenue and a 565% increase in profits. Miranda was honored as a Top 5 leader out of 40 Managing Partners throughout all practices at Lucas Group for her teams\' record-breaking performance in the FY 2020. She has expanded her team\'s footprint throughout the Northeast and is consistently ranked a top leader throughout the firm.
