In my personal and professional life, I found myself devoted to all things creative and thoroughly enjoyed surrounding myself by like-minded people. I have spent 10 years studying at Leeds College of Art and Design where I completed A-levels in Fine Art and Textiles, and an access to higher education course which enable to me undertake a degree in Fine Art. Whilst undertaking my degree in Fine Art, I specialised in sculpture, photography, film, and digital art as mediums to deliver concept as a driving force.I have worked In mental health in social care and mental health, this has enabled me to build relationships with people and create great staff teams, I love to get the best out of people and I am positive, keeping morale high is a priority for me I have worked under pressure and done long hours to provide a quality service While working with individuals with complex mental health issues, I established a unique counselling service within a community, setting out the boundaries of the service and recruited counsellors. Collaborating with Commissioners and the NHS to ensure a smooth referral. This displayed my ability to identify meaningful programs that cater to the community. Furthermore, my expertise extends to designing and implementing an innovative arts programme addressing needs. This initiative has empowered individuals and contributed to the overall wellbeing of the community. I’m someone who throws their whole self into all that they do and utilising my creativity has been the pivotal driver in my life. Reflective practice has enabled me to deliver personal and professional projects including art works I have been commissioned to make to an award-winning art therapy programme for adults with learning disabilities. working with Castleford Heritage Fund, securing funding to design and deliver a workshop, ‘Unleashing Your Creativity’ focused on building confidence in new artists and individuals returning to the practice. I stay connected with the world of contemporary art as I learn new artistic practices, build relationships with creative contacts, and nurture my creative ethos by supporting local exhibitions. After a break of 2 months to up skill I have completed screen Yorkshire Beyond Brontë program to enter into the world of tv / Film, I have worked as a trainee in the art department for a production in Yorkshire, soaking up all the skills, no task is too big, I proactive, I am eager to learn and build my hands on experience.
