Tuomey’s active medical staff consists of more than 150 physicians, representing more than 25 medical specialties. In the last 10 years, the medical staff has more than tripled, indicative of the aggressive growth and commitment of the institution to providing an unprecedented level of healthcare to the community. Included in the system’s facilities are a 36-bed nursery, an expanded ICU, 10 operating suites, an Outpatient Surgery Center, an award winning Day Surgery Unit, a beautiful Women & Infants Pavilion and a satellite medical park. Tuomey’s diagnostic and treatment capabilities include a medical oncology program, Cancer Treatment Center, cardiac catheterization and updated HiSpeed Computed Tomography. Transitional care is provided to patients via Tuomey Home Services, along with a Subacute Skilled Care program.
