I lead cross-functional engineering organizations that deliver complex hardware products from concept through NPI / manufacturing introduction, validation, and production launch. I’m known for reshaping plans to deliver major customer value faster—using architecture reuse, early risk burn-down, and clear tradeoffs—while preserving capacity and focus for the broader portfolio.In my current scope, I lead the Hardware, Mechanical, and Magnetics organization through managers and senior technical leads, while driving end-to-end execution across cross-functional program teams in a large, dynamic portfolio (typically 60+ active efforts) covering new product development, sustaining, manufacturability, quality, supply chain, and cost/throughput initiatives.I routinely partner across firmware/software, program management, product management, manufacturing, and supply chain to align requirements, make decisions visible early, and unblock execution when priorities shift. A recurring theme in my work is improving speed and predictability without sacrificing robustness: disciplined design reviews, strong validation evidence, and repeatable operating mechanisms (cadence, decision records, risk triage, escalation paths).I’ve also supported manufacturing scale-up from the R&D side by redesigning products for higher throughput and partnering with Manufacturing/Operations to improve build/test flow during ramps. I’m an inventor on multiple patents/filings tied to real product performance and reliability outcomes.
