About Basit
The World has witnessed an vehement shift within the first two decades of the 21st century. The pioneer is the growth of Cyberspace whose important part is the Internet. My focus lies in understanding, dissecting and conceptualising those shifts. My focus of study takes me to the areas of Cyberspace and International Security, Political Communications and Disinformation, social media and dissent, MNCs and Global Governance, Conflict triangle in the context of Internet Governance and International Public Policy. I have done my Bachelors in Economics honours and my Masters in International and Area Studies. In the last few years I have gained some skills with the likes of Secondary research, Data Analytics in Public Policy, Microsoft Excel, Research Article writing, Literature review and team leading.

Project Eduacess helps further inclusive in higher education institutions by providing free mentorship to learners belonging to marginalized communities in South Asia on how to secure fully funded/partially funded admissions in good universities of Europe.\\\\nApart from that it conducts training sessions and skill development workshops to help the students coming from marginalized sections. I have been selected as a Mentee.
