About Miory Kightlinger
I’ve always had a passion for design, so as a lighting designer I get to use my artistic and technical skills, blending both to achieve a concept that is functional and beautiful. I have had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of lighting project types including higher education, offices, industrial, aviation, automotive, hospitality, retail, museums, auditoriums, worship spaces, and building exteriors. As an active member of the Illuminating Engineering Society, I have been involved in the planning of local section events, served as district chair and am now in the Aviation Committee developing lighting guidelines. Reducing the carbon footprint of the built environment and incorporating sustainable solutions in my work and everyday life are important to me, and I strive to reflect that on my projects.
