Minzhe (Michael) Guo is a software engineer, interested in state-of-the-art machine learning and quant trading with a master\'s degree in computer science from Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL). He has experience in backend development, adversarial machine learning, and Bayesian machine learning, working on projects in computer vision and biomedical engineering. He is passionate about solving intellectually challenging problems in math and algorithms, and has a special interest in stochastic process and calculus, active learning, and Bayesian optimization. He is currently working on deriving a formula and algorithm for weight rebalancing of options to capture fat-tail to maximizing annual return. He is also an option trader since 2020, achieving more than 300% return consecutively in the past few years with a Sharpe ratio of 3+, using a long-short strategy with certain greeks hedging. He is looking for opportunities related to backend SDE, machine learning engineer, or quant developer, where he can leverage his technical and analytical abilities to create value and impact.In his spare time, he enjoys playing contract bridge, a card game that requires strategic thinking and teamwork. He is a semi-pro player who uses 2-over-1 most of the time and has extensive experience in pairs-game. He is looking for a team of 4-6 to attend regional Swiss Teams competition.
