Worked within a team of 3 recruiters and contributed to the recruitment of regional vacancies for both private and public sector companies, and the management of the online careers portal: reported to the Recruitment Manager. Key Activities: • Placing job advertisements across a range of online channels including LinkedIn. • Shifting through, reviewing and shortlisting CVs to identify suitable candidates for available positions for both private and public sector • Utilising and updating the database with candidate and job details to ensure that records are up to date for other consultants and that open jobs are accurately monitored • Conducting both telephone and face to face interviews with candidates prior to sending candidate CVs. • Assisting candidates through their employment lifecycle with the clients. • Obtaining correct and up to date documentation from candidates in line with legal requirements. • Attending meeting with clients to obtain further information on the company and requirements, and to cultivate and enhance relationships to maximise business opportunities. Key Achievements: • Successfully placed a candidate to an important client after 3 years of company chasing it. During my assignment I developed high attention to details and a deep knowledge of the industry by getting specialised training in IT recruitment. I gained experience in filling both temporary and permanent positions and I also learned how to self-manage my projects and work in multi-disciplinary teams. I developed writing job adverts skills, active listening, diplomacy and negotiation skills.
