About Minnan Xu
Minnan Xu is currently Director of AI/ML at Takeda\'s ShinrAI Center of AI/ML, where we prototype AI/ML enabled systems (using a variety of methods including large language models) to address challenges of drug discovery and development. We are also setting up an ecosystem of vendors and academic partners to accelerate usage of AI/ML within pharmaceutical R&D. Minnan Xu previously led a team of 40+ scientists and engineers at Philips Research focused on creating AI/ML enabled products and solutions to improve patient monitoring and clinical decision making in and outside of hospitals. Minnan developed and led collaborations across diverse teams spanning academia, industry, and clinical medicine.
