Ekho is a creative multidisciplinary collective focused on immersive art experiences. Founders are Minja Axelsson, Saara Mäkinen, Essi Huotari, Joonas Nissinen, Heikki Heiskanen, Olli Kilpi and Iina Taijonlahti. Working on concept, service, interaction and user experience design, as well as narrative creation within and about the artworks. Leadership duties in project organization, expert role on AI and robotic technologies and interactions.Our collective created \'Laila\', an immersive art piece that premiered in 2020, with the Finnish National Opera and Ballet, composer Esa-Pekka Salonen, and dramaturge Paula Vesala.\'Laila\' won the respected FEDORA Digital prize in 2020. We also created \'Ahto\', which is in the permanent collection of the Malva museum in Lahti, Finland. Ekho is currently creating the work \'Peace Machine\' in collaboration with the city of Oulu as part of its European Capital of Culture 2026 appointment.
