As a support specialist, I assist adults and youth who struggle with adapting to their daily lives. It is not my role to impose my beliefs on these individuals, but instead to encourage them to achieve their goals and daily tasks. One of the most critical aspects of my job is to offer a listening ear to those seeking help. During a session, I make sure to allow ample time for the client to express themselves, as it is vital to actively listen to their thoughts, beliefs, and goals. Exploring the client\'s life and aspirations, my job is to assist them in developing a plan to achieve their dreams by setting achievable goals.
