   Lead team of dynamic professionals to empower students and alumni to explore, to connect, and to create their future. • Meet individually with eight direct reports bi-weekly, and additionally as needed, to provide guidance and leadership and support professional development opportunities.• Organize and lead bi-weekly staff meetings for CSC team to connect and collaborate with each other, learn new processes and procedures, share updates and highlights, provide feedback, and learn from one another. • Coordinate and co-chair Employer Advisory Board meeting to connect and collaborate with local and regional industry employer partners to gain insight on workforce priorities and industry trends.• Represented the CSC at off-campus at professional meetings, community events, and conferences.• Met bi-weekly with SSI core leadership team and monthly with ESS directors to share information, discuss important changes affecting ESS and WWU and to think creatively to find solutions to upcoming challenges.•Budget authority for the CSC: created, monitored, and adjusted budget to fulfill CSC mission.• Stay informed of university policies, shared with staff, and ensured understanding and compliance.• Review and update departmental policies to ensure alignment with university policies and mission,political and cultural climate within the university, and CSC’s mission, values, and goals. • Draft monthly staff/faculty newsletter to increase awareness of CSC services and events, highlight student engagement & outcomes, and educate audience on career development best practices and industry trends.
