Mindy is a Managing Director at Accordion with nearly three decades of experience in public accounting. She has extensive experience working with companies in regulated businesses and has deep technical expertise in both accounting and auditing. Mindy is a subject matter expert in US GAAP, SEC Regulations, and internal control attestations. Throughout her career, she has helped companies with complicated transactions – including M&A’s, IPOs, and carve-outs. She has specialized technical knowledge in a variety of areas including accounting for stock-based compensation, leases, and financial instruments. During her 26-year career at Deloitte, Mindy served clients in virtually every industry. She has a diverse client services background with a broad range of experiences and skill sets including: • Experience serving as the engagement leader on a variety of engagements across the spectrum of financial services as well as consumer businesses. • Experience with IPO’s, IPO and SOX 404 readiness engagements, SOC 1 and 2 attestation reports over internal controls, custody exams and other regulatory filings. • Significant technical expertise in valuation of financial instruments and private securities. • Serving as the National Deputy Professional Practice Director for Investment Management, providing support to audit professionals around all aspects of audit quality. Mindy graduated with the highest honors from University of San Diego with a B.S. in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
