I bring over 15 years of experience in litigation, legal advising, and public service—building a track record of success across federal, state, and local government, and in collaboration with community stakeholders, elected officials, and nonprofit partners.Whether in the courtroom or the policy arena, I have worked to advance justice, accountability, and transparency. As an Assistant United States Attorney, I handled dozens of high-profile prosecutions related to the January 6th Capitol attack—representing the United States with integrity, fairness, and a focus on upholding the rule of law. My career also includes roles as a public safety advisor, criminal justice reform advocate, legal team lead, domestic violence prosecutor, union president, and school teacher.Throughout my career, I have remained deeply engaged in community service. I have served and held leadership roles on nonprofit boards focused on civic leadership, mentored emerging attorneys, and co-chaired equity and inclusion committees committed to transforming institutional culture. Across all roles, I have developed and led initiatives in policy development, coalition building, organizational governance, and systems change—guided by a deep commitment to justice and the public good.
