I have professional work experiences as Coastal engineer (Numerical Modeling of shoreline, Breakwater (Floating structure with Membrane and mooring), Shore Protection, Sediment Transport and Infra-Structure in Civil Engineering and couple years of educational experience as Assistant Teacher in Seoul National University of Science and Technology and Texas A&M University as a lecturerDuring at Texas A&M University, I conducted the project about nonlinear wave-wave interaction in offshore area in particular at Gulf of Mexico and Alaska region and was involved in a part of development of forecasting system for wave, ice and sea surface elevations about Western Alaska.I also have researched a dynamics of Offshore Structures, Fatigue of Mooring Line, and Turret of FPSO behavior for 2 years including a period of my research intern at SOFEC, Inc in Houston, TX.Currently, at NOAA/National Weather Service/National Centers for Environmental Prediction/Environmental Modeling Center, working on implementing the data assimilation system for the ocean model to be coupled with the numerical weather model used for the National Weather Service\'s global forecasts.
