   FC Vehicle Model Development and Analysis- Architected a modular structure for the vehicle-level FCEV model, and developed conventions for exchanging information acrossmodel subsystems and for defining model characterizations externally, allowing for adjustment after compilation- Allowed users to conduct vehicle analysis with various battery models by providing overwrite scripts that adjust modelparameters, lookup tables, and the battery model library used by the simulation- Led energy analysis studies to identify areas of improvement to extend vehicle range- Studied the effects of the HPCM code and energy management calibrations on battery charge limits and regen potential- Analyzed the compounding benefits of choosing a more efficient gearbox and optimizing the torque-split table calibration- Set up the vehicle-level model to run as a digital twin to SuperDuty logger data. Tuned model mass and road load to align totarget F-terms from the test data- Designed a Simulink test harness to introduce transient inputs that push the thermal system into edge cases, helping to validatethe robustness of the model to the thermal management system controls.Traffic Model Interface- Integrated virtual vehicle models within a SUMO road network and traffic model using RealSim, a simulation frameworkdeveloped by Oak Ridge National Laboratory- Improved robustness of driver model algorithms to interactions with surrounding vehicles and traffic lights- Created Matlab and Python code to run an ego vehicle through randomly selected routes within a traffic environment.
