Minds Matter NYC is a college access and success nonprofit that empowers high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds through mentoring, academic enrichment, and personalized support- Lead college advising strategy for Minds Matter NYC, including training facilitations, resource research, and guiding a volunteer team to match students with best-fit postsecondary options- Support 100+ students and 200+ volunteers by fostering mentoring relationships, tracking academic progress, and creating equitable college access pathways- Collect, analyze, and use student data (attendance, transcripts, surveys) to refine advising strategies and drive program improvements- Design and lead community-building initiatives to strengthen student cohort connection, motivation, and belonging- Collaborate with the Programs Director on curriculum development and logistics for Saturday programming and summer enrichment, coordinating with external partners and overseeing in-house planning.
