A communicator with three decades of experience, straddling business journalism and corporate communications, via a small detour into film-writing, I am fascinated by where the industry is today: the challenges posed by converging traditional and digital media, addressing multiple audiences with blurring boundaries and creating content that balances corporate messaging with high credibility. With the experience of working across Indian and global brands, across B2C and B2B industries across Indian and Asian markets, I am passionately convinced about the power of communications to make a difference to how organizations are perceived, with clear brand and business impact. I am an advocate for how communications must be a strategic partner to business, playing the role of strong moral compass and brand reputation custodian, making reputation integral to business strategy. I believe these are among the most exciting times in communication and what drives me is how technology is bringing in disruptive changes, redefining the reach and remit of communications to make it more effective, holistic and powerful.
