About Minal M.
The field of Chemical Engineering is integral and ubiquitous, be it providing our daily necessities such as fuels, food products, pharmaceuticals to powering the high-end technologies with microchips and sensors, but these processes are far from sustainable. As the chemical and pharmaceutical industries continue to improve our standard of living, we as chemical engineers must strive to mitigate the degenerative impacts these conventional processes have on our environment. It’s a minute to midnight and we must awaken now to alleviate the damage and prevent further damage. As modern-day chemical engineers strive to develop novel green and clean processes and modify existing processes to reduce the negative impact on human life, environment, and productivity, I intend to contribute to serving self-conscious companies that advocate environmental-friendly processes. I am passionate to learn innovative processing techniques to create sustainable commodities.
