We also spoke with Emirati scholars about the importance of architectural engagement in public diplomacy at Trends, a think tank in Abu Dhabi.Our film, “FACE OF A NATION: What Happened to the World’s Fair?” brought national attention to the importance of design excellence on an international stage. The global impact has included screenings at the 2022 Paris International Communication Association Conference, Emirate Airlines, 100+ national PBS broadcasts, 30+ theatrical screenings, and recent citations in Time and Smithsonian Magazines. The film continues to engage global and national audiences with additional broadcasts and streaming through 20••••25. It has been listed as a resource for the US Department of State Expo Unit since 2018.
