I\'m a passionate science communicator, designer, and educator. For 13 years, I was a researcher and educator in the field of Neuroscience. In addition to developing technical expertise in my field, I gained an appreciation and affinity for effective science communication through teaching, publishing, and delivering presentations. I further honed by technical writing skills as a Sr. Medical Writer at Red Nucleus, where I also gained valuable insight into the end-to-end communication processes and needs for large biomedical organizations. In my current position as a Sr. Science Designer at BioRender, I combine my aptitude for visual design with my scientific expertise to help other scientists communicate their research faster and more effectively. This includes creating and adding scientific figure templates to our ever-expanding gallery, speaking directly with scientists to understand their content needs and pain points, and developing analytical tactics for strategically driving our team\'s content production.
