   After 19 years selling real estate at traditional brick-and-mortar brokerage offices, in 2016 I said \"yes\" to my friend Glenn Sanford\'s invitation to join eXp Realty in the position of Market Development Director. I was the 714th broker to hang my license with eXp Realty and I have NEVER looked back. Joining eXp early in a leadership position allowed me to be hands-on building the framework for many of our systems and tools. In addition to the role of Market Deveopment Director, I have served as the Designated Broker for the State of Washington, opening every area, city, MLS and Realtor Association for eXp in Washington State. I spearheaded the development of our enterprise agreement with Regis co-working which satisfied the need for our State brokerages to have a physical office location to meet State Licensing Law requirements and I was integral in building the initial format and framework of eXp\'s powerful networking tool : Workplace by Facebook. Technology has changed the Real Estate landscape. No longer necessary to individual brokers are big brick and mortar real estate brokerages, big desk fees and big expenses. Individual brokers are now free to work more independently because technology has set them free to work from any location.Our clients are online and expect their properties to be powerfully represented online.At eXp Realty, The Agent-Owned Cloud Brokerage™, our family of agents and brokers build their own businesses.
