About Madeleine Gabbert

I am a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a Business Administration degree at the Kenan-Flagler Business School with a minor in Entrepreneurship through the Shuford Program. My academic and professional journey reflects a blend of entrepreneurial drive, analytical problem-solving, and hands-on sales experience.This past summer, I worked as a Sales Development Representative Intern at PitchBook Data in New York City. The fast-paced, client-facing environment strengthened my adaptability, communication skills, and ability to translate data into actionable value.Beyond PitchBook, I’ve founded two ventures: ThemApples, a platform designed to increase transparency in the hiring process, and RustResist, a rust-prevention service in Sun Valley, Idaho that served over 60 clients. These experiences deepened my understanding of how to build solutions from the ground up while staying attuned to customer needs.I have also interned at Kepos Capital LP, where I contributed to sustainable investment strategies by researching corporate emissions and alignment with the Paris Agreement. These roles sharpened my interest in the intersection of finance, entrepreneurship, and business development.On campus, I stay engaged through the UNC Marketing Club and Carolina Women in Business, where collaboration and mentorship continue to shape my leadership style. I thrive in environments that combine creativity, data, and strategy, and I am excited to explore post-graduate opportunities that allow me to grow in sales, venture capital, or consulting while continuing to pursue entrepreneurial ventures.
