About Mimi Rasor

When I founded Rasor Marketing Communications more than 20 years ago, I was guided by a core belief that good marketing and communications can change everything. When people say what they mean and mean what they say, suddenly connections grow and differences dissolve. Today I lead a team of 24 strategists and creatives who help organizations solve complex communications challenges and move ideas forward. Based in Norwood, Ohio, Rasor partners with companies, healthcare systems and suppliers, nonprofits and public agencies across the region. Our work covers everything from research and marketing strategy to design, production, public relations and community engagement. We help organizations truly understand their audiences, communicate with clarity and deliver projects that make a measurable difference. My early experience in healthcare shaped my approach to both communications and marketing. In that environment, every message matters and building trust is essential. I learned the value of clear, transparent communication and thoughtful leadership—lessons I carry into every project today. Across industries, I noticed a common challenge: organizations often have strong ideas but struggle to turn strategy into action. That realization inspired me to create the SHARP Method™, a practical framework designed to help leaders and teams move confidently from planning to market execution and meaningful progress.
