I am a public health professional driven by a strong commitment to community, equity, and sustainable impact. I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Policy and Management, with the goal of translating data, lived experience, and community voice into meaningful and lasting change.Born in Peru, my interest in public health—particularly in community-based and global contexts—is informed by lived experience and a deep commitment to improving access to quality care. This perspective has shaped my approach to public health as both a technical discipline and a responsibility grounded in ethics, accountability, and partnership.My work spans community health, program planning, evaluation, and advocacy. Through experiences with organizations such as MEDLIFE, the Knox County Health Department, United Way, and campus leadership initiatives, I have learned that impactful public health work requires more than short-term solutions—it requires systems that center people, prioritize sustainability, and are supported by strong data.I am particularly interested in community-centered program development, ethical global health engagement, impact evaluation, and grant development. I enjoy building structures that help organizations better understand, communicate, and scale their impact while remaining accountable to the communities they serve. Equally important to me is relationship-building—creating inclusive spaces, fostering trust, and ensuring that communities are not only served, but heard.I bring a strong background in leadership, communication, and cross-sector collaboration, developed through student leadership roles, public health internships, and frontline service work. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and value culturally responsive approaches in all aspects of my work.At my core, I am motivated by service, integrity, and growth.
