The Senior Vice President of Operations oversees the operations and construction activities for Alpha & Omega Industries. This encompasses administrative and support functions for equipment leasing/rental and construction projects for interior finish-out and electrical contracting. The position has oversight over all projects done under the Alpha & Omega Industries umbrella. This role includes collaborating with the Executive Team in building visibility in the market place.Principle ResponsibilitiesAssist in overseeing all capital expenditures, infrastructure and real property for A&O.Ensure that the company processes enable the team to competitively bid projects, perform above expectations and complete projects on time and within budget.Develop and implement systems to monitor project performance against budget authorization, project schedules and established quality control standards. This includes identifying variances and working with project management staff to develop and implement plans to correct ineffective operationsDirect the development and implementation of design and construction standards to ensure projects are executed at appropriate levels of quality and are compatible with A&O’s sustainability plan.Ensures effective and appropriate communication and customer service is maintained by Senior Leadership, management and staff.Determine short and long-term planning and strategies for administrative activities including oversight and direction of staffing and work-related matters. Oversee management and personnel. Oversee Senior Management and Project Managers in developing plans to organize and direct work activities, establish system control procedures, allocating staff to various work functions, and automating various management information systems. This also includes review and approval of departmental operating policies and procedures.
