With 3100 full-time students and 540 staff, HAS green academy is a medium-sized personal University of Applied Sciences. Besides being curious and inclusive, HAS Den Bosch is also known as extremely entrepreneurial. Business development and entrepreneurship are recurring concepts. The engine that keeps HAS Den Bosch running is the dynamic triangle of education, research and business. The parties inspire each other so that education remains at a high level, the study process is enriched and the level of knowledge is in line with the trends and developments in the ever-changing food system and related agri-food business. My current role as Senior Lecturer in the English-taught International Food & Agribusiness (IFA) Bachelor programme consists of teaching and supervising young professionals in the field of Personal Leadership and Communication, which includes intensive value- and talent-based coaching. Next to that, I am involved in curriculum development regarding Personal Leadership, communication and high-performing teams, and I monitor and coordinate the various related learning lines and corresponding courses. In addition to being a senior lecturer, I have also been a member of the Management Team of the IFA programme, and since 2021 mainly responsible for Student Affairs. This role involves a.o. student recruitment, study progress, career orientation, student health & wellbeing, and internationalisation.
