About Miloni Shah

I am a passionate young architectural designer who has successfully completed a Master\'s degree in Architecture from the esteemed Savannah College of Arts and Design. My affinity for architecture developed at a tender age, nurtured by my upbringing in Mumbai, a densely populated city in India. During my early teenage years, I embarked on train journeys, meticulously observing the cityscape with a keen eye, fearing that I might lose my way amidst Mumbai\'s bustling streets. The interplay of light and shadows, coupled with the emergence of towering structures, captivated my imagination. Unbeknownst to me, my passion for architecture burgeoned, leading me to successfully obtain a Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture from the G.C. Patel Institute of Architecture in Surat, India, in 2017. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I seized exceptional opportunities to explore diverse international architectural styles by participating in workshops held in Bali, Indonesia, and undertaking an internship in Japan. Following the completion of my undergraduate studies, I harbored a strong desire to delve into the realm of urban planning, driven by my burgeoning interest in examining the dynamics of social interaction and connectivity within cities. Given Mumbai\'s status as a meticulously planned metropolis, the utilization of space in relation to temporal and activity-based considerations became a focal point of my exploration. Over a span of six months, I dedicated ten hours each day to meticulously observing how a street\'s behavior could evolve over time. This fervor for understanding human behavior propelled me towards undertaking a master\'s thesis project centered around a transit hub, which aimed to seamlessly integrate with the urban fabric through the facilitation of social interaction and human-centric design principles. As an ambitious and detail-oriented designer, I firmly believe in the transformative power of design to positively impact individuals\' daily lives. Consequently, I have invested considerable time in augmenting my knowledge of the built environment, fueled by my enduring passion for architecture. Embracing challenges has been a guiding principle in my life, encapsulated by my personal motto of \"never stop learning.\"
