Accounting Analyst & Fixed assets AnalystPerform asset-related accounting procedures & analysis (equipment & projects)Keep the work-in-progress assets (equipment & projects) records up to date, notably by collaborating with various teams (ex. construction, site operations, maintenance teams)Calculate asset depreciation & maintain the continuity schedules reconciled with PnL and Balance Sheet. Provide Capex analysis in terms of monthly expenditure to ensure transparency and support to internal clients. Be a super user for accounting system asset module (Microsoft D365 & Great Plan). Take ownership of assigned divisions/sites/tasks to provide accurate asset-related financials, collaborate effectively with stakeholders (Procurement and Maintenance teams, finance divisions teams, operations teams from various sites located across North America) and offer excellent service to internal clients, continuously improve ways of working and be a strong team play.Participate in high-impact continuous improvement projects. Perform accounting from A to Z starting from bank reconciliation, AP, AR, Payroll, accruals to financial analysis and reporting. Being a key point for internal and external audit of company for different sites across Canada.Put in place different process related to Tangible and intangible assets in respect to IFRS and company policies. Perform any ad hoc fixed asset and project reporting, financial reporting assigned by the supervisor
