About Milo Atwood
I’m a computer science student, researcher, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Utah’s Kahlert School of Computing, where I support students in mastering core programming concepts, algorithms, and the mathematical foundations of computing. Through guided problem-solving, careful grading, and clear feedback, I help learners build confidence in technical thinking.My academic interests span computer science, applied math, and the hard sciences, and I’m especially drawn to interdisciplinary research—most recently applying computational techniques to problems in materials science. Outside the lab, I explore patterns in music through guitar and piano, driven by the same curiosity that fuels my work in computing.When I’m not coding or studying, you’ll find me either playing music with friends, hiking, camping, or any combination of the three!
